We are thrilled to share a significant milestone for the Phoenix tech sector. Solera Health, a Phoenix-based leading technology platform dedicated to seamlessly connecting people to effective health solutions, has secured $40 million in new funding. This insider round, co-led by Health Care Service Corporation, includes notable investors such as Adams Street, Cobalt Ventures, and Horizon Mutual Holdings, Inc.
Existing investors have demonstrated their continued support for Solera’s vision and innovation roadmap, which focuses on expanding access to quality digital health care, improving clinical outcomes, and significantly reducing costs. The fresh funds will be utilized to further develop the Solera HALO™ platform, including the ambitious vision to build the Solera HALO Cloud. This cloud solution aims to unify Solera’s network of high-quality, value-based point solutions within the HALO Marketplace, streamlining the integration of digital health applications for unprecedented access and speed.
Health Care Service Corporation, a co-lead investor serving over 23 million people nationwide, sees this investment as a strategic move to enhance access to quality, affordable healthcare across the United States. Arun Prasad, Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, and President of HCSC's Diversified Businesses, praised Solera’s platform for connecting individuals with the right health tech solutions tailored to their care needs.
With this funding boost, Solera’s Interim CEO, John Santelli, is set to make a transformative impact on access and cost of care. Santelli, who joined Solera in March 2024 after a distinguished career at UnitedHealth Group, brings a wealth of experience in enterprise architecture and technological innovation. His transition to the role of Solera’s Chief Executive Officer marks a new chapter of growth and development for the company.
Building on a successful 2024, Solera has expanded its platform to include virtual specialty care and solutions for cardiometabolic health challenges, such as hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes prevention, and weight management. A strategic collaboration with global professional services firm Aon has further empowered employers to deliver personalized health experiences to high-risk employees.
Solera’s achievements have not gone unnoticed. The company was recently named a Best-in-Class finalist in the Consumer Wellness category of the Digital Health Hub Foundation's Sixth Annual Awards, recognizing its innovative contributions to healthcare transformation.
These milestones are complemented by a brand refresh that underscores Solera’s deep understanding of healthcare needs and its role as a catalyst for strategic digital health experiences.
We are thrilled that Solera Health has received the partnership, support, and funding it needs to continue advancing healthcare technology in the Valley.
